Dave Sumner (aka Function) es uno de los grandes héroes del techno underground. Es miembro del colectivo Sandwell District, ha sido residente del Berghain, publica en Ostgut y es el capo de Infrastructure New York. En 2013 sacó el álbum seminal Incubation.
